Polar Cubs Polar Cubs is a
unique winter program for Cub Scouts and their families. Campers are
grouped into ÒSuper DensÓ keeping those from the same Pack together. Super
Dens rotate through various activities led by staff members. The
program focuses on outdoor winter adventure. Registration
includes a bunk in one of our many heated cabins, indoor showers and
restrooms as well as two or three meals prepared for you. Polar Cubs runs
several weekends in January and February with most of the activities on
Saturday. Campers have the option of a Friday night or Saturday night
stay. NEW FOR

is the National Jamboree?
Every
four years, the National Council of the Boy Scouts of America organizes the
ultimate Boy Scout experience, the National Jamboree! The BSA has announced
that the next Jamboree has been scheduled in 2010 to coincide with the 100th
birthday of the Boy
Scouts of America! Yes, it will have been one hundred years since an Òunknown
ScoutÓ helped an American businessman, William D. Boyce, to find his way
through a London fog. This simple, selfless act led Mr. Boyce to bring the
fledgling movement of Boy Scouting to America in 1910. |
