Popcorn
sales are our traditional method of raising money for pack activities and
operating costs. Some packs have
the parents of the scouts cover the cost of patches, badges and belt loops as
well as materials needed for the pack meetings. Pack 388 has been able to cover most of these costs with
popcorn sales in the past. á
We do not
raise nearly the money at Heritage Days as we do with popcorn sales. á
Scouts earn
14% of your sales, along with badges and possibly prizes! What can you
earn? á
Selling one
item earns you a Popcorn Patch plus 14% of your sales which can be applied in
one of the following methods: o
All 14%
applied to your scout account that can then be used for camp, scout gear, sporting
equipment, educational items, etc. o
Split 7%
between your scout account and 7% on a Wal-Mart gift card á
Selling
$325 or more also earns you a Popcorn Knight patch and you get to throw a pie
at a Leader! á
Selling
$550 or more gets a $30 gift certificate for camp á
Selling
$650 or more (and each additional $325) earns another turn at throwing a pie
