Pack 388 Scout Gazette for October 2009

3 points for above and beyond activities:

-   Community services (really helping out at a community event or providing assistance to others in need).  If the participation is expected to help you get your advancement badge, then it does not count.

-   Answering hard monthly challenges (those needing you to write a paragraph or article, and requiring a great deal of research to complete). If a suitable response is not given (not enough effort) then the scout will be awarded two points instead of three.  The ages of the scouts will be taken into consideration when reviewing these entries.

5 points for special activities designated by the cubmaster.

Pack points are used at the Blue & Gold Ceremony in February.
