Points! Yes, we will be handing out
points again this year. In fact
I am bringing it up a notch or two. You will earn points again
based on what activities you participate in. The points started accumulating in July. 1 point for expected
activities: - Attending pack meeting - Attending den meeting (den leader must submit
attendance sheet each month) - Passing uniform inspections (we will hold periodic
checks at pack meetings to see who is wearing the uniform properly) - Den leader wearing their uniform to den meetings
during a uniform inspection (the scout must also be present at the pack
meeting to be awarded the point) - Your den performing the flag ceremony at a pack
meeting (the scout must also be present at the pack meeting to be awarded the
point). - Answering simple monthly challenges (those not
requiring to write a whole article) - Other activities of a similar nature. |
AkelaÕs World Another great time at camp! AkelaÕs World offers the Cub Scouts a great opportunity for having fun and working on some achievements at the same time. I will be posting all of the pictures that I have to the web site, and I once again have the slideshow made by the camp personnel to show at a pack meeting. If you have any pictures that you are willing to share, please get them to me.
