Help Still Needed
My schedule has been rather chaotic recently, and has made doing everything a little difficult at times. I am still looking for a volunteer to take over a very small portion of what I have been trying to handle.
Scared yet? DonŐt be, I am just looking for someone to take over Advancement Tracking. With me not being at all the meetings I have found that I am falling behind, and this is one area that is really difficult to do while on the road, and takes very little time. Normally this is a separate position anyway.
What this position entails is going to the pack meetings and keeping up on who is eligible for what badges / awards. The den leaders and parents fill out the advancement boards and / or contact you with the information.
Before the next meeting you get the badges / awards that are needed for the next meeting by either going to the Scout shop in Wausau, or faxing in the order form (in which case they mail the stuff to your house, or my house, or whatever). Some of the awards / badges can be gotten from the Sports Den in Marshfield, but we do not have an account there, so you would need to pay for it then get reimbursed from our treasurer.
