September Pack Meeting

DonŐt forget about our September pack meeting / kickoff / picnic.  Saturday Sept. 15th at 2:00pm in Klemme Reserve.

I have basic station write-ups for several areas of activities for the boys, but I need some more help to pull it off.  I will take one or two stations myself (whatever is left over).  I tried to set up the types of stations to appeal to the widest range of kids, and to work in some requirements and electives right away also.  I have sheets made up for each with guidelines and suggested activities.  Following is the list that I have

#1 – Hike (requires two adults – one must be youth protection trained)

#2 – Nature Art (to be done after the hike with items collected)

#3 – Sports

#4 – Ropes (tying / throwing / games)

#5 – Conservation (conservation / recycling / pollution)

#6 – Arts & Crafts

General – Picnic / Snacks

The areas already covered include

#7 (Gary) – Keep Moving (exercise / physical fitness / games)

#8 (Dean) – Tools

#9 (Fay) – Drawing & Painting

#10 (Karen / Amanda) – Fun & Games

Please let me know if you can help out.  Thanks!

September Challenge

Bring a friend to the picnic.

Chuck-wagon

Chuck-wagon is in October this year.  The Cub Scout packs will be running the various stations, so we need to have a volunteer to head up the station with an activity.  Most packs appear to have chosen stations already, so when we get a volunteer, we will find out what activities are left.

We also need two leaders (one youth protection trained) to bring the scouts.  Right now I am scheduled to be out of town, but will help if I am here.

Please contact me if you are willing to help out.
