For more information contact Marsha Oberg at om2@charter.net
Spring Camporee The spring version of the fall chuckwagon is coming in a few months. Watch for more information. The district is looking for volunteers to set up and man stations. Is anyone interested in helping out if the Pack sets up a station?

Pack Pinewood Derby! The January pack meeting is on the 21st at the Stratford Elementary Gym starting at Noon. This is our annual Pinewood Derby race, and I look forward to seeing all the cars that the scouts and family members worked so hard on.
There are still a few cars left, so if you would like another car let me know. They cost only $3.55 each.
The car building rules are simple (see the instructions inside the Pinewood box), and for more information have a look at the pack website. Here are a few rules for participation.
More Popcorn Stuff? It seems that there is always more stuff to say about popcorn. This stuff is from the district.
The district sales increased this year from $144k to $164k, which is a 15.34% increase (the second highest in the council)! Additionally the district did the second best in sales per scout, $359 each on average. Definitely an outstanding year for the district, but our pack did better ($430 each on average).
Wagon Ride update! A few weeks after our December meeting at Memory Lane, the driver of the wagon (Martin Wolfe) was out in the barn getting ready for another group of people, and his hip gave out on him. He had a hip replacement previously, so they were able to get the hip reset at the hospital. He has been out of commission for a while, but should be back in business soon.
In the scouting tradition, please show that you care for a wonderful man and his wife.
Polar Cubs! Winter camp has begun. Please send me stories and pictures from any scouts that make it this year.
