District Roundtables Roundtables are one of the means that parents and leaders from different Packs meet to discuss what they are doing, and to pass on ideas.
I do not get the chance to attend many since I travel. It would be great if one or more adults would volunteer to give one night a month to attend and bring back ideas.
March 1st @ Our Lady of Peace, 1414 W 5th St, Marshfield
April 5th @ Edgar Elementary School Cafeteria, 203 E Maple St, Edgar
May 3rd @ Immanuel Lutheran Church School, 604 S Chestnut Ave, Marshfield
Friends of Scouting (FOS) Paul from the Friends of Scouting will be present at the Blue and Gold to talk.
FOS is one of many ways that the council raises money to keep the scouting experience going. The money raised through all the activities pay for the equipment, grounds, overhead, and yes some of the people in the council and district get paid because this is their full time job.
Think about what Scouting costs you for a year compared to other activities like Football. Scouting is for a lifetime.
